AD LIVE content is described improvisationally while the show airs, highlighting the details that the sighted public and announcers take for
granted. Things like setting, costumes, lighting, facial indicators, onscreen text and subtitles, and much more are now illustrated for the blind and sight impaired. This inclusiveness can also include those who just don’t have the time to sit and watch the live event, but would rather “hear” the live event.
A LIVE audio description narrator has just nanoseconds to select which elements of each moment will be illuminated for the viewer. It is these sharply honed instincts which take time to cultivate through experience and fearlessness.
